Here are just a few code examples for you to look at:

Deep Zoom (note that it is a bit messy because it is a work in progress)

Amazon DVD Search (Ajax, Javascript, etc.)

A work in Progress - Silverlight Deep Zoom

April 3rd, 2008 Posted in News | No Comments »

So this is a bit of a work in progress. I am working on this new Deep Zoom thing in using the Deep Zoom Composer, made by the same people that brought you PhotoSynth. And this is pretty cool, click a thumbnail image on the right to zoom in to the corresponding image in the zoom composer. There are still a few things to get sorted out, and a few bugs here and there (thus the ‘work in progress’) but I think this a great looking tool. Try zooming in, it looks really really nice:)

Adobe Breeze (a.k.a Connect) Frustrations

March 26th, 2008 Posted in Rants | No Comments »

So, I just had an online meeting for my class, New Media Team Project II in what is now called Adobe Connect (used to be Macromedia Breeze) because my teacher is in sunny California, while we are stuck here in snowy, cold, miserable rochester (how nice of him). Anyways… I saw people chatting, and was completely confused on what they were saying… which is when I realized that the professor was speaking. I tested my sound, tried it with headphones, without headphones, and nothing… absolutely nothing was working!! It was sooo frustrating not knowing what he was saying.. especially because it is the first class, which holds a lot of informational stuff pertaining to the rest of the quarter!

Just thought I would share my frustrations.
